A Woman Entrepreneur who has owned her business for at least 5 years and has demonstrated exemplary business achievement, customer growth, community leadership, industry influence and entrepreneurial success in the past year. She is also a woman who has earned public recognition and serves as a mentor for other women.

Growing Star

A Woman Business Owner who has owned her business from 3-5 years and has demonstrated extraordinary revenue increases over the past 3 years displaying a solid business foundation with clear goals and future objectives for continued growth.  She is an inspiration to other women who are considering starting their own business.

Rising Star

A Woman Business Owner who has owned her business from 1-2 years and has achieved exceptional new business start-up results in the past year.  Her accomplishments include: developing and achieving projected revenue goals, executing successful marketing awareness, creating business exposure in her market place, and demonstrating business leadership in her community.

A Woman Business Owner who has been a member of NAWBO-Atlanta for 1 or more years and in the past year has made exceptional contributions of time, energy, and resources to the organization and has been an influence in the growth and development of the local chapter.

The Corporation that supports, strengthens, and enhances the woman-owned business in the business community and serves as an incubator and/or showcase for the unique advantages and benefits women bring to business.  This company advocates internal women-friendly policies and procedures by employing women in all levels of management in addition to seeking external business relationships with women owned businesses.

A Woman employed by a publicly traded corporation that serves in the capacity of Senior Vice President or above.  She has achieved this position through hard work and determination, while inspiring, supporting, and sponsoring the rise and growth of women in business leadership at all levels.  She acts as a mentor and inspiration to all women – both in her organization and the community.

This is an influential Woman working as a professional in the legal, medical, or mental health community.  In her role as a professional she has created public awareness and demonstrated support of women.  She is a professional that advocates women’s opportunities, women’s rights and supports solutions for family issues.  She also acts as a mentor and leader for young women who are entering her profession.
